This year we have had a sensible rent increase for the allotments.
Work on our plot has started in earnest. Lets hope for a good summer!

So far this year we have taken down our fruit cage which was quite rotten and have dug in all the lovely compost from our heaps. Onions and shallots have been planted and peas started off in the greenhouse. Trenches have been dug and filled in with kitchen scraps n shredded paper for the beans.

Sowed our 2nd batch of beetroots today. Ground was great to prepare as we have had lots of rain to soften it.
